Title Agents
Our office conducts a thorough search of a property’s history, which includes previous owners and transfers as well as a search for liens on the property. Title Insurance is issued to protect the lender and homebuyer from financial loss sustained from defects in the title to property. Southland Title, Inc. writes lender’s title insurance and owner’s title insurance through Fidelity National Title Insurance Company, Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company and Chicago Title Insurance Company, and has been an agent for First American Title Insurance Company for 25 years.
